Electric Love Festival 2024

The final day of the Elec­tric Love Fes­ti­val 2024 expe­ri­enced a tur­bu­lent start when a severe thun­der­storm cell grazed the fes­ti­val grounds in Salzburg with gusts of wind up to 100 km/​h. These weath­er con­di­tions forced the orga­niz­ers to delay the open­ing of the grounds to ensure the

safe­ty of atten­dees and staff. In close coor­di­na­tion with the on-site mete­o­rol­o­gist and local author­i­ties, the Elec­tric Love Fes­ti­val team respond­ed prompt­ly to the weath­er warn­ings. Campers were advised to seek shel­ter in vehi­cles until the storm passed. Thanks to the coop­er­a­tion of the fes­ti­val-goers, the evac­u­a­tion was car­ried out swift­ly. ​“Ear­ly com­mu­ni­ca­tion with atten­dees regard­ing the evac­u­a­tion of the camp­site was absolute­ly right and impor­tant,” empha­sized the emer­gency ser­vices. The police also report­ed a calm event with few inci­dents. The fire depart­ment high­light­ed that the delay was han­dled smooth­ly due to the close col­lab­o­ra­tion between the orga­niz­ers and all emer­gency ser­vices. The fes­ti­val grounds were reopened after the storm at 8:45 PM.

Despite the chal­lenges, Elec­tric Love atten­dees were able to cel­e­brate again after the grounds were reopened, unde­terred by the dif­fi­cult weath­er con­di­tions. Tech­no DJ Reinier Zon­n­eveld thrilled fans with a short but impres­sive per­for­mance, while John New­man sang live to his DJ set, cap­ti­vat­ing the crowd. French super­star DJ Snake brought all his hits to the Elec­tric Love Fes­ti­val, cre­at­ing an ecsta­t­ic atmosphere.

Anoth­er high­light was the ELF24 Relive Show, which com­bined the best moments of the fes­ti­val in a spec­tac­u­lar light and fire­works show, while Hard Tech­no dom­i­nat­ed in the Club Cir­cus. Here, Nico Moreno & Dyen shone with an exclu­sive back-to-back set, fol­lowed by an ener­getic per­for­mance from I Hate Mod­els. Local Salzburg artist Slashy Dis­co, respon­si­ble for the Blue­BoXX on Sat­ur­day, cre­at­ed a live­ly atmos­phere togeth­er with his DJ colleagues.
